Simultaneously, a seven-year-old child was lost their life in a separate aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia area in the country's south-east, based on information from regional authorities.
Moscow has increased assaults on electrical systems over recent weeks, while officials has requested "real steps" from international partners to increase pressure on Russia.
"The necessity is not window dressing but strong steps - from the United States, the EU and the G7 - in providing defensive weapons and applying sanctions," mentioned in a public message.
Officials stated that 450 drones and over thirty rockets struck energy facilities, characterizing such assaults as "strategic and deliberate" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as the weather cools.
Energy officials said Moscow was "conducting extensive attacks" and maintenance teams were striving to repair systems.
A wave of strikes damaged electrical systems and apartment buildings in the capital.
Several of the people hurt in the assaults on the capital have been taken to hospital, as confirmed by city authorities.
